Back-to-back aces at Pyramids league, sort of...

5/27/2010 by John Borelli

Nice job, Jeff! Thanks for the news, Jason.

Here's one. Yesterday before Pyramids Monday league, whose ace pot is now at $234, and growing, with Silvers next Monday.

Jeff Chauvin aces Hole 5 with a straight shot KC Pro Aviar. Then he steps up to Hole 6, remembers to ask whether there were any other 1s, and proceeds to ace Hole 6 with the same disc.

Two shots in a row for two aces. I'm pretty sure at least here it's unprecedented.

Has anyone else witnessed, heard about, or thrown two or more aces in a row? Let us know!

I have been apart of a doubles round at pyramids where my partner aced hole 5 silver then later in the round I aced hole 15 silver. Also Chris Androlewicz Has aced hole 5 at pyramids 4 times and 2 out of the 4 times he has stepped up and rattled cage on 6

I don't remeber the date, but Jake Gould aced hole 6 at Buff and then aced hole 9 in the same round

Let's also not forget 2 years ago at Tully, Dave Boliver and John Hart both aced hole 3 from the smae group on back to back shots.

Nice job Jeff - that is so friggin' great! I remember at a Pyramids tournament back when the silver and gold baskets were side by side on hole 5, Eric Kaplan on the top of the box, aced the silver basket and then throwing next, I black aced the gold. Walking down, it was kind of funny to see a disc in each basket side by side :)

Pete Johnson aced 2 holes in one round during league at Maple Hill about 3 years back.
