Monday, September 12, 2011  by mcmanus

The 2011 NEFA Finals are just around the corner (October 22nd) and we're gearing up for what is sure to be an event worth remembering!!  The Woods at Beauty Hill is this year's venue and your hosts, Lisa Prizio and Blaze Konefal are working hard to get the course ready to go and show the NEFA members what hospitality is all about!

NEFA is accepting both monetary and merchandise sponsorships for this event and would be proud to prominently display your name and logo as a supporter of this points series tournament.  It is our goal to reduce the fee for this tournament as much as possible while simultaneously pulling off an event that may just cause excessive drooling, hyperventilating and unadulterated giddiness.

The following is a breakdown of sponsorship levels:

$100 Ace Sponsor:

-        Full page advertisement in the NEFA Finals Program, a tee sign on the course and a sign at tournament central

$50 Eagle Sponsor:

-         Half page advertisement in NEFA Finals Program and a tee sign on the course.

$25 Birdie Sponsor:

-         Business card sized ad in the NEFA Finals Program

Please send logos to at least one week in advance of the event in order to be included in the program. Of course, any donation of money, merchandise and/or services is greatly appreciated!

So, let's get the disc rolling on this!...spread the word!....tell your friends and's ON!! top Top > Comments   (1 comments)

Depending on where you live in New England, hurricane Irene may be viewed as a disappointment from a storm thrill seeker's perspective or a major storm that caused massive power outages, tree damage and major flooding from the perspective of property owners.  Regardless of individual interpretation, there' s no question that Irene left her mark throughout New England, particularly in the recently hard hit areas in and around Springfield, Mass.  I sincerely hope that those without power get it restored soon and that the damage from downed trees and flooding is remediated quickly and smoothly and efficiently.

If anyone has storm stories and/or pictures they wish to share, please forward them to me and I'll be sure to post them on the blog.

Also, a vehement reminder to all tournament directors...please forward me any and all tourney descriptions and I will be happy to post them here on the nefa blog prior to the event.  Without this precious information, I can only post about the time and date of the event, nothing more, so don't short change your event...send me the info! top Top
