Tuesday, March 9, 2010  by John Borelli

Minuteman ClassicThis potentially rainy weekend brings golfers to Borderland State Park disc golf course for the annual Minuteman Classic, a Pro/AM doubles tournament in Easton, MA. Although the event is sold out, there are only a few teams on the waitlist and chances are good you might make it into the tournament on Saturday morning.

Contact TD Matty Brier for more info. (email)

If you have, let us know if we should invest our two bucks!  (more screenshots)

Can you play 54 holes in one day?

Wednesday, March 3, 2010  by John Borelli

I54f you can handle 54 holes on three different courses on a winter day in New England, then you better be signed up for Tourney 54.

54 holes, 54 players, 3 courses

TD Jason Southwick has spiced things up for his relatively new late-winter tradition by making Tourney 54 a PDGA-sanctioned event and adding his latest creation, Newton Hill, to the mix. The day starts with a round at West Thompson, followed by a round at Newton Hill, and then a final round and dinner at Pyramids.  (more info)
