This weekend is your last chance at earning NEFA points for the 2010 season.
Head to Borderland State park in Easton, MA for the Fall Finale (NEFA, PDGA C-tier). There is a close race in AM2 this year and this tournament may decide the overall AM2 points leader. Kind of exciting, no? (info)
For those set on NEFA points or not part of the NEFA points series (*gasp*), try out the two-day PDGA Tournament of the Damned instead. You'll play four dam course in MA and CT including Tully, Buffumville, Barre, and W. Thompson Lake. (info)
Or, if doubles is your thing, head to Vassalboro, ME for the Doubles Championships at Burnsboro disc golf course.

This Saturday's NH States Hunt's Mean 18 in Rindge, NH acts as a homecoming for a good chunk of the players. There is a large group of longtime disc golf friends who play once a year and treat this tournament as their annual reunion. With camping, glow golf, and general good times, this tournament has taken on a life and mystique of its own over the years.
Rindge is one of New England's first courses and is located on a private wooded lot with a lake and a castle. It is only opened to the public for one week a year and the event usually sells out in record time.
For those of you who missed out this year, a new course has opened just down the road. John Britton is hosting his first event there on Sunday. Stop by and check it out. (

MA golfers Wendy Boutin and Rachael Hudson are heading down to Jacksonville, NC this week to participate in the 2010 US Women's Disc Golf Championship. I think this is the biggest event each has ever played in, so let's send them some positive vibes throughout the week, NEFA!
Several NEFA golfers have even donated money to the pair to support them on their trip. Way to support women's disc golf, NEFA!
Safe travels, have fun, and good luck ladies!
